Church Vision Statement
We believe God is calling us through the Holy Spirit, to a ministry of excellence, that seeks to reach all persons by providing a warm and loving Christian atmosphere, where children, youth, adults and families are nurtured and equipped to reach their God-given potential; to be an advocate for community empowerment: and, a prophetic voice for all oppressed peoples with love, grace and justice as our guiding force.

Bookstore History
The Bookstore Ministry was founded in June 2004. Its purpose was to become a centralized distribution location for religious materials (i.e. bibles, books, church apparels, etc.). Before the formation of what was then called The Distribution Ministry, other church ministries would seek outside vendors to purchase and sell materials for their events (i.e. training guides, bible study workbooks, special event apparel, etc.) using the St. Luke name.
Under the pastoral direction of Dr. Michael Green and the leadership of ministry chairpersons Sondra Logan and Jackie Williams, the Distribution Ministry started taking orders for volunteer shirts to be worn during the Leadership Institute. Because there was no other central order location, the Distribution Ministry received orders in the church parking lot and vestibule areas.
The Distribution Ministry began to assume other sales responsibilities and evolved into a Bookstore Ministry, selling church paraphernalia, CD’s and gift items. In late October 2004, the Bookstore Ministry opened in its current location in the southwest corner of the Dorothy Burse-Holmes Fellowship Hall. To commemorate the move, The Bookstore Ministry held a contest in search of a new name. A bookstore volunteer, Collette Griffin, submitted the winning name, N’Spirations Bookstore.
In August 2005, N’Spirations celebrated its one-year anniversary. With God’s help, this ministry has continued to be successful. We have 19 active committee members and have sold over 2,000 items, including St. Luke apparel, Christian books, greeting cards, calendars, music and host of children books and other specialty items. We have installed a computerized inventory system, and we now accept various tender for payment including checks and credit cards. N’Spirations has also sponsored events, such as our first “Booked for Life.” Almost a dozen local authors were on hand to sell and sign their writings. Booked for Life and other events are planned for the future.
"N"Spirations is moving forward and we plan to continue being active participants of God’s work at “The Luke.”
Store Hours: We are open on Sundays after 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship celebrations.
